Hey everyone! My name is Nate Osterstock and if you didn't guess it, I love running! I currently run Track and Cross Country for Southern Utah University. When it comes to running I am better at the longer distances like the mile or 5 km run.

A little bit of background info: I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and lived there until I was 18 and move out to go to college in Cedar City. Growing up I always enjoyed running, but never thought that I would become a Division 1 collegiate athlete. My dream growing up was to be a soccer player, and I was able to pursue it until about my junior year of High School where I decided to quit and run instead (I will save that story for a later post).

Fast forward, I am now 20 years old (21 in 2 days) and about to start my fourth year at SUU. I have grown a lot as an athlete and a person during my time here, and would like to share my experiences and growth. When it comes to running my times have greatly improved, and when it comes to personal growth I like to think I have improved as well! I love to be outside, play board games, hang out with friends, watch movies, play with my dog and more.

I have not fully decided what I want to post on this blog, but I do want to help others and inspire them to try out my passion. I am thinking about writing about my daily life as an athlete, the training I do, what I eat, how I stay motivated, and other things, but would love to get some more ideas of what people would be interested in.

I am excited to keep posting and getting to share my passions, Thanks for reading!
